Diagnose: acute leukemia

Dear friends, funds collection for Denis Pushka is officially closed!

We are Pushka family. Our first names are Anatolyj and Lilya. Recently our son  passed regular analysis and medical examination at a local outpatient clinic. We were shocked to find out that he is severely ill. He has a complicated form of leucosis. We could not believe this grief at first. The son along with mother were hospitalized. Now Denis is in worse condition than before. He exhausted and his legs hurt. Local specialists declared that Denis does not have any chances for survival in Moldova. He is in need of going abroad for the treatment. We found out about Israeli RamBam Medical Centre and contacted them. In order to be admitted to the examination and treatment it is necessary to have $30.000. Final expenses will be clear after examination and specification of the methods and medications.

At present our son is in the Israeli Hospital. But doctors cannot start chemotherapy until we make a transfer of $38.000. These funds will be enough till April,15 when we will be in need of money again. Israeli doctors give us 60% probability of success that our son will be alive and perfectly healthy. We have already sold our apartment in Chisinau to bring our child to the clinic. That was our last source. We don’t have anything else. Furthermore, we have an elder daughter of 13 years old which we need to take care of too.
We pray for help! We don’t know where to go and whom to beg. Please help our son. We waited  for his birth for 10 years.

News:
Our family was forced to come back to Moldova due to lack of money. At the moment our son is in the Oncological Haemotology Department of the Oncological Institute situated in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. He started to get chemotherapy because we were unable to find money for treatment in Israel. Now we are looking for another hospital, perhaps in Russia where transplantation of bone marrow would probably be cheaper. In Moldova it is not being practiced yet.
