There are on average 35 children from 0 to 18 years old on therapy in burns department in the Republican Child Hospital «Emilian Cotsaga». Burning injuries pose high risk for health. Even singes which have big damage area are threatening child’s life, as for deep burns, it can lead to disability from very young age. Toddlers usually get burns with hot liquids: milk, tea, soup, water. It happens due to lack of necessary attention. Often parents put child in hot tub without checking water’s temperature. There are a lot of infant’s burn’s cases, when parents try to warm them with hot-water bottle without taking in consideration that baby’s skin is much more sensitive to high temperature, then adult skin.
